Alleged support for Israel’s false claims; Reuters journalist resigns
A renowned photojournalist has announced resignation, blaming Reuters for the loss of journalists’ lives in Israeli attacks.

Valerie Zink, a photojournalist from Canada, has resigned after working eight years with the global news agency Reuters.
She announced her resignation on social media, openly criticizing the agency’s pro-Israel policies.
The journalist accused Reuters of bolstering Israel’s false claims, thereby justifying the “systematic killing” of 245 journalists in Gaza.
She further stated that Reuters supported Israeli propaganda regarding the killing of Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif, whose reporting had won the agency a Pulitzer Prize, and refused to defend him.
The journalist added that, instead of standing with this injustice, she wishes to support justice and the oppressed, and is resigning in protest.
