Two Children Killed in Shooting at Minneapolis Catholic School Church During Prayer Service
In the U.S. city of Minneapolis, two children were killed during a prayer service at a Catholic school church.
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara told the media that police arrived at the Annunciation Church at 8:30 a.m. local time, where children and others were attending the prayer service.
“During this time, an armed individual appeared outside the building” and began firing through the church windows.

According to the Minneapolis Police Chief, the armed individual “targeted children inside the building and others engaged in worship.”
He added that the suspect was armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol.
The attack left 17 people injured, including 14 children, two of whom are in critical condition.
Police Chief Brian O’Hara stated that the attacker was over 20 years old and “has been killed.”
He also mentioned that the suspect had no “extensive criminal record” and authorities are trying to determine the motive behind the attack.
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance expressed his sorrow over the incident, stating that the White House “is closely monitoring the situation in Minneapolis.”
On social media platform X, he wrote, “Join us in praying for the victims.”
