Due to India releasing water into the rivers, a flood-like situation has emerged in various areas of Punjab Lahore Pakistan
Coorrding to Bahawalpur News : The Punjab government, in order to protect human lives and ensure timely relief operations, has decided to take immediate measures and approved the deployment of the army in Lahore, Kasur, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Narowal, and Okara.
In six districts of Punjab, the district administration had requested the immediate deployment of the army.

According to the Punjab Home Department, the district administrations of the affected areas, along with Rescue 1122, Civil Defence, and the police, are already on the ground and actively engaged in relief activities.
However, in view of possible risks, army assistance is being sought to support the civil administration and to deal with any untoward situation.
On the request of the district administrations, the Punjab Home Department has formally sent a letter to the Federal Ministry of Interior, under which the deployment of the army will be carried out.
The number of army troops will be determined in consultation with the district administration, and if needed, Army Aviation and other resources will also be provided in the affected areas.
According to an official spokesperson, the Punjab government and all relevant departments are monitoring the flood situation 24/7, and all available resources are being utilized to protect the lives and property of the public.
The aim of this timely and organized government response is not only to provide prompt relief to the people but also to ensure protection against any potential major damage.
